How you choose to write your wedding invitations is a personal choice, and should reflect you as a couple. The style of your wedding may contribute to the style of writing for example a church ceremony followed by a sit down reception may be written differently to a relaxed beach theme wedding.
Traditionally, the style of writing is determined by who is paying for the wedding. Parents can become offended if they are not included on the invitation so please take that into consideration and perhaps show your parents the invite before sending them out, to avoid foreseeable problems.
